Kim Uzzell Money Coach for women

When money changes more than the numbers.

Significant financial events can affect more than finances. They can change identity, relationships, responsibility, control and the way we make decisions. I work with people navigating some of life's most consequential financial transitions, including:

Private Wealth & Family Offices
Next-generation wealth, succession, stewardship, responsibility and the transfer of control. I am a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.

Divorce & Financial Transition
Supporting individuals as they navigate financial independence, changing identity and important decisions during and after separation. I am an Associate Member of Resolution.

Inheritance & Contentious Probate
The emotional and behavioural complexity of receiving wealth, bereavement, family conflict and changed financial responsibility.

Engagements may be commissioned directly by private clients or through the professional advisers and organisations supporting them.

Financial expertise. Psychological Insight.

I have spent more than 35 years working with money, from trusts and taxation to stockbroking, investment management and private wealth.

Today, my work focuses on something financial expertise alone cannot always resolve: the human response to money.

As a Financial Psychologist, Executive Financial Coach, Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Fellow of the CISI, I bring financial experience together with psychology, behavioural and emotional finance, trauma-informed practice and academic research.

My work focuses particularly on financial identity and decision-making during significant life and wealth transitions.

Working alongside professional advisers.

My role is complementary to legal, financial, tax and therapeutic advice, not a replacement for it. I work alongside family offices, private client and family lawyers, wealth managers, financial planners and other professional advisers where the financial decisions are technically supported, but the client may also be navigating questions of responsibility, identity, behaviour, relationships, confidence or change.

Clear professional boundaries, confidentiality and appropriate referral are central to the work.

"I had known for many years (decades even!) that it would be a good move for me to invest but I'd never had the courage to actually take this step. Having no prior experience, it all seemed very complicated and confusing; even the very thought of it left me feeling overwhelmed.

However, Kim has a tremendous gift for turning seemingly complicated matters into something clear, coherent and easy to understand. Through her eloquent explanations she has guided me through both the fundamentals and some of the complexities of investing in an accessible and clear way. Kim has instilled in me the knowledge and understanding necessary for me to enter into the world of investing with confidence and conviction. It was extremely empowering to be able to make that choice of either "yes I will invest" or "no I won't" from a place of real knowledge.

Time spent with Kim is always hugely enjoyable and I am greatly appreciative towards her for sharing her knowledge and wealth of experience with me, and enabling me to take these steps that I've wanted to take for so long. Thank you Kim!"

Kim is a passionate, enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable deliverer of anything money and investment. Her experience speaks volumes, as does her empathy for the situations many of us face as she has been there herself.I loved the pre-recorded bite size modules, which will always be available to me (that’s a huge plus) and the group ‘live’ sessions were incredibly interactive which is important when sharing your situation in a confidential environment. From working out budgeting and clearing debt to understanding different investment opportunities and tax through to believing in your ‘vision board’, Kim not only has the suggestions/answers, she enables her students to come up with the ideas and journey themselves.
