About Kim Uzzell - Personal Money Coaching and Psychology That Goes Beyond Numbers

Kim Uzzell - Chartered Financial Consultant and Emotional Finance Specialist

Life is never straightforward. And Money is never just about money.

For over 35 years, I've worked with people and their money - in regulated financial services, in boardrooms, around kitchen tables, and through the middle of crisis and celebration.

And here’s what I know:

Most financial decisions are not driven by logic.

They're driven by emotion, identity. fear, responsibility, power, grief - and what's happening behind closed doors and beneath the surface.

That’s the work I do.

I’m Kim Uzzell.

I'm a Chartered Fellow of the CISI, a former Private Client Lawyer, Stockbroker and Chartered Wealth Manager. I’ve advised high-net-worth individuals, executives and business owners on complex wealth strategy.

I understand the structures. The tax wrappers. The portfolios. The risk frameworks.

But technical knowledge alone doesn't change behaviour.

This is where most financial support stops.

Mine doesn't.

I'm also a woman who rebuilt her life after grief and a divorce that changed everything.

That combination matters - Because understanding wealth professionally is one thing.

Holding it together personally is another.

I had the qualifications, the career, the house. But I also had the debt. The pressure. The responsibility. The fear.

And no one - no one - was talking about what it really feels like to be the one left holding the financial and emotional pieces.

That’s why my work goes beyond spreadsheets.

After decades in finance, I realised: Most successful women aren’t looking for another adviser.

They’re looking for someone who understands the weight they’re carrying.

They don’t want hype.
They don’t want shame.
They don’t want “just earn more and budget better.”

They want to make powerful financial decisions that feel psychologically safe and strategically sound.

That is behavioural wealth strategy.

My mission is simple. To shift not just what women do with money - but who they become through stewarding wealth well.

This is grown-woman wealth.

My Approach

I don’t believe wealth is built through shame, restriction or simplistic ‘earn more, spend less’ thinking. Sustainable wealth requires behavioural awareness, strategic structure and emotional safety in order to:

Identify and break unhelpful financial patterns.

Build new, sustainable money habits.

Gain confidence to have better financial conversations with your family, professional advisors, and friends.

Develop a financial strategy that aligns with your personal values and goals (not with what you think you ought to be doing)

Shift habits, patterns and cycles that have felt stuck for decades

Sunday Times Alternative Rich List

And it's being recognised - from Guest Lecturing at Universities, Keynote Speaking and being featured in the Sunday Times Alternative Rich List 2025 for "Breaking the Silence" around the topic of money and the way we approach it,

But recognition isn’t the point.

Changing the conversation around women and wealth is.

Next Steps - I've got you.

Whether you’re ready to:

Rebuild after divorce, menopause, loss or burnout.

Make peace with inherited wealth or a change in financial circumstances.

Ditch the fear, fog, and financial avoidance.

Build confidence and financial peace of mind without spreadsheets and shame

…there’s a way to start.

Stop making the same mistakes

with your money over and over again!

You might be feeling like you're no good with money, but that's just not true.

You're holding on to an old money story.

You're repeating behaviour that has been ingrained within you for a very long time.

And the good news is, that it can be changed!

My simple Rewired for Wealth programme is a fabulous (and FREE!) way of getting your money mind on your side so that you don't have to keep making the same old mistakes again!

Who I Work With

I work with people who are smart, successful, and still feel like they’re missing something.

That includes:

High performers who secretly struggle with financial confidence.

HR and wellbeing teams looking for real impact in financial education.

Entrepreneurs, lawyers, medics, creatives, and professionals with busy brains and big responsibilities.

Women who want their money to match their power.
